PAY CLOSE ATTENTION; THERE WILL BE A TEST.
East Canyon Marina is the home to the following:
- Start line
- Friday night PPU and bike drop off
- Race day packet pick up, body marking and chip pickup.
Morgan City is the home of the following:
- Event parking this year will need to be street parking. (Morgan High School is under construction.)
- Shuttle pick up (Riverside Park)
- T2 and Finish line (drop your run gear before getting on the shuttle)
Split Transitions and Gear bags:
This is a two-transition event! You have the option to drop off your bike Friday night between 6-8pm at T1. If you do drop your bike on Friday you will ride the shuttle from Riverside Park to the race start at East Canyon on the morning of the race, starting at 6:00am. (no bikes allowed on the shuttle)
If you do not drop off your bike on Friday, you may have someone drop you off with your bike at T1 on race morning at East Canyon Marina.
Leave no trace:
Litter could jeopardize the life of this and any other event. In addition to littering not being cool, USAT officials may give you a time penalty for littering on the race course.
Please dispose of all trash in proper receptacles. Please clean up any garbage/trash in your transition area and respect the venues that allow us to host these rad events!
All athletes are required to retrieve any gel packet or water bottle that is discarded during the bike. A USAT “abandoning of equipment” time penalty will result if littering is witnessed by a USAT official. Please also keep control of all gel packets on the bike and run.
There is limited space for spectators at the start. Any spectators at the swim start will be REQUIRED to wait until ALL swimmers have exited T1 and are on the bike course before they are allowed to leave the swim venue. So plan on staying and cheering on the athletes as they exit the swim!
Spectators will also have to drive a separate route through Henefer back to Morgan, as to limit traffic on the bike course.
Dropping off of athletes at East Canyon Marina on Saturday morning is allowed but vehicle parking is extremely limited. Spectators should plan on driving into Morgan City, parking and walking to Riverside Park to catch the shuttle. If spectators drive to the venue they will have to wait until ALL athletes have left the swim venue before they can exit East Canyon. Spectators who drive to the swim start will also be required to head to Morgan via Henefer and will NOT be allowed to drive down the canyon on the bike course.
PARKING IN MORGAN- On Race Day, ALL PARKING in Morgan will be STREET PARKING since the H.S. is under construction. Anyone parking at the bowling alley will be towed without question.
Shuttles will be available to take supporters to the finish area. However, they will most likely NOT make it in time to see athletes arrive at T2 (due to the fast nature of the bike course).
The Utah Highway Patrol and Weber County Sheriff will be present and ready to ticket and tow anyone who parks on the roads leading into East Canyon Resort.
**Please plan ahead. You will need to either: 1. Drop your bike off and set up your gear Friday evening (recommended), or 2. Have a driver drop you off on race morning. It will be much easier and less stressful if you arrive Friday evening, check in your bike, set up your gear, and then ride the shuttle on race day morning.
NOTE: If you choose to park at East Canyon Marina, you will be required to pay a parking fee.
There will be designated parking areas at East Canyon and in Morgan.
Shuttles: NO BIKES ARE ALLOWED ON THE SHUTTLES
Shuttles will be picking up people at Riverside park (T2) beginning at 6am and ending at 7am. They will also run spectators back down to Morgan with the last shuttle leaving at 9:00am.
Shuttles will NOT be available after the race to shuttle athletes that parked at East Canyon Reservoir. Please have someone that can drive your vehicle back down to Morgan or be prepared for a post race ride back up the mountain to get your vehicle.
