Sprint open water road triathlon on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Pineview Reservoir, Ogden Valley, Utah.

 About the Event

It’s baaaaack! TriUtah has been around longer than any other triathlon company in Utah. “So what?” you ask. This event will show you what! Back by popular demand, the Ogden Valley Triathlon presented by Snowbasin will be the culminating event for a new TriUtah Point Series! That’s right, TriUtah will be recognizing the top athletes in Utah. Throughout the 2012 season, athletes can earn points based on overall and age group placement in TriUtah’s other open water triathlon events. If you’re not in it for the point series, no worries, the Ogden Valley Triathlon is for everyone! The Ogden Valley Triathlon is a single distance event that will rock your world in more ways than one. The autumn mountain leaves and scenery this time of year are breath-taking, the bike course is simply beautiful and easy to follow around the reservoir, and the run course is one that you will want to do again and again just for the sheer pleasure!

 From the Athletes

“Probably one of my favorite races ever.” Jen L. – Salt Lake City, UT

“Bring this race back! That run course was the funnest course I’ve ever done! Love the bike around the lake, and the water was perfect. If you guys can bring it back, it’ll be the biggest race in the state!” Mike R. – Bountiful, UT

This coverage only extends to their participation in a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.

If you have questions specific to your coverage, please email to sanction@usatriathlon.org or call the group benefits department at ESIX at 1-800-342-4371.

Water/Aid Stations

Water and electrolyte sports drink will be available at the run aid stations. Run aid stations will be located every mile on the run course. Each athlete will receive bottled water at the finish line.
