TriUtah enjoyed two and a half information-packed days at the USA Triathlon race director symposium in Colorado Springs, CO. In addition to presenting a seminar on crisis management, we also attended seminars on event safety, new risk management issues facing triathlon, improving methods for communicating with athletes, and providing triathletes with the best possible race experience. We look forward to implementing many of the new things we learned for the 2010 TriUtah triathlon season!

Feb. 7th – Echo Triathlon welcomes Pamela Baumeister/Wasatch Woman Magazine

TriUtah’s Echo Triathlon, taking place on Saturday, July 10, 2010, welcomes Pamela Baumeister, editor of Wasatch Magazine to the race.  Many of you will remember the hilarious blogs from Wasatch Woman Magazine the past few years from staff writers training for the Woman of Steel Triathlon. Now Pamela is taking on the open water, and is ready to blog about her preparation for the triathlon.

Pam recently had baby #4 and is lined up with a triathlon coach to get ready for the race. She will be  tweeting/blogging on http://www.wasatchwoman.com about the experience and will have articles in both Wasatch Woman Magazine and Rocky Mountain Running and Triathlon print magazines. Also look for Pamela on Good Things Utah every other month.
